Bigfoot bikes was founded in 1998 by Roger. Finding himself frustrated with the service in the local bike shops, Roger told his friends if he had a bike shop he would do things differently. Well, his friends held him to his word and the adventure began!
All staff members are cyclists and we believe this passion for bikes makes a difference to the level of care and experience you receive whether you are buying a bike or having it serviced, or just want information on local routes.

Bill - Mechanic
Bill has been a customer of the shop ever since it opened and after many years of buying bikes and bits he has now swapped to the other side of the counter and spends his time repairing them!
He is a fully trained mechanic and has completed a City and Guild Mechanics course.
Bill is an off roader through and through, and has been all over the UK and Europe in search for the perfect off-road ride!
